I’m Jessie — mum to two little boys, wife to a wonderful man of 16 years, and the heart behind Reiki Awakening.
Like many women, becoming a parent turned my world inside out. I loved my children deeply, but somewhere in the chaos of nappies and sleepless nights, I lost touch with me. The woman I was before felt like a distant memory.
That’s where Reiki found me. I fell into it, then fell in love — enough to train to Level One and Two, and eventually step away from the corporate world to build something of my own.
But here’s what I learned along the way: most healing programmes give you a burst of energy, then leave you flat. They sell you a transformation, a checklist to complete, a promise that you’ll be “fixed” in a set number of weeks. And when you’re done, you’re left alone again, wondering why it didn’t stick.
That’s not how I work.
I don’t fix you. I’m not here to clear your blocks or hand you a protocol. I’m here to sit with you while your own body remembers what it needs. To hold the bowl, light the candle, and create a space where you don’t have to perform or figure anything out. You just lie down, breathe, and let the vibrations do their quiet work.
That’s the missing piece. A witness. A companion in the messy middle. Someone who doesn’t flinch when tears come, and doesn’t rush to move you along.
So yes, I offer sound baths and moon circles and gentle Reiki. But what I really offer is a soft place to land — where you can feel what you feel, without anyone trying to fix it.
A little more about me
I have a background in communications, marketing, and design, so I love bringing creativity into everything I do — from the way I layout a sound bath space to the digital art I create. You’ll find my shop here, and I’m slowly building out resources like The Somatic Code (a free, gentle guide to releasing stored energy).
At the moment, I’m working from home while raising our two boys. I hold local sound baths on the Northside when the moon calls, and offer distance Reiki for those who feel drawn to it.
